Line drawing, animation, no sound
Series of short animations

This piece is designed to loop for an installation environment either projected or displayed on an HD capable monitor.
Preferably it would project onto a floor surface so that viewers could include their own shadows into the over-all patterning.
Accompanying elements could include the original source materials for the animation; 5 completed drawings 4"x6" each.

This body of work examines the topics of data visualization, apophenia, low-fi technologies and automatic drawings.
The movement of one drawing may compare to the dynamic force of a volcanic eruption, or another to the collisions of two weather systems. In fact the drawings represent neither of these comparisons directly, but instead can represent a general relationship between one moment and another.
