Surrealism was an art movement that originated from Dada in the early 1920's. Salvador Dali is probably the most recognized name from this movement. With his dripping clocks. But there are many other artists worth exploring.
Surrealism is more than dream-like imagery. These artists sought new ways to create work.

This assignment can be interpreted as loose and playful. You can explore dream-like imagery OR not. You may choose to exploit perceptions. What is up or down? What might be expected from the viewer - and reverse what is delivered.
